News > Rezare Presents at Inaugral NZBio ConferenceThe first NZBio conference was held in Auckland on 14-15th March 2005, and provided an opportunity for New Zealand Biotechnology companies to showcase their world-class expertise. The conference was open to the public, and featured a number of high profile international and national speakers, experts in both business and biotechnology. A feature of the conference was the consolidation of an AgBio special interest group, focusing on the applications of biotechnology in New Zealand’s agricultural sector. Rezare Systems managing director Andrew Cooke spoke along with other agricultural companies in the business partnering forum at the event. He described the role that Rezare Systems plays in providing a pathway for delivery of scientific research in practical ways to farmers. Mr Cooke also highlighted the Integrated Farm Management and Traceability project funded by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and managed by Innovation Waikato and Medialab.
